About us

Ken Warren BA, M Soc Sc is the Director of Positive People Solutions – a speaking and consultancy business which helps:

  1. Managers and their teams - to have great working relationships, enjoy their work, and perform at their best

  2. Education, health, and welfare professionals - to achieve better outcomes with challenging clients and feel more satisfied with their work

Ken knows what he is talking about. His background includes 23 years experience counselling aggressive and violent individuals, people with drug-related problems, team members and couples with relationship difficulties, and young people with problematic behaviour. For the past 15 years, he has been delivering tailored presentations for conferences and workplaces throughout Australia.

His experience also includes managing various government and community programs as well as his own private practice and speaking business. He appreciates the challenges in managing a business as well as in managing people.

Ken is a sought-after speaker for conferences and in-house training programs throughout Australia. He is frequently featured in the media with weekly columns in newspapers and interviews on radio.

He is the author of two books on private practice and has been a regular columnist for the national journals, Counselling Australia and CEO Online. His newsletter is received by over 5500 managers, educators, health and welfare professionals. His formal qualifications include Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the Social Sciences.

Positive People Solutions comprises a small team of professionals who deliver tailor-made presentations. In addition, Ken's involvement with the National Speakers' Association of Australia means he is well-able to access a wide range of skilled and expert speakers.

Ken is married to Christy and has 3 beautiful sons, Damian, Robbie and Jamie.

Christy is on her way to Sainthood for putting up with Ken's passion for road cycling.
